Energy-saving solutions have been part of Intermatic's DNA for nearly as long as we’ve been in business. From the launch of our very first time switch in 1945, we’ve worked to bring reliable, easy-to-install lighting and energy controls to the market.

Although our product portfolio has evolved over time, this core mission remains the same.

To help highlight the energy-saving nature of many solutions throughout our catalog, we’re excited to introduce the launch of our new Intermatic Green and Green+ badge initiative. When browsing Intermatic.com, customers and industry partners will now notice a round green badge on select Intermatic solutions that explicitly conserve natural resources through sensing, control, and protection.

Our hope is that this will help inform purchasing decisions and give environmentally conscious shoppers a clear indication of solutions that go above and beyond in terms of energy savings.

To start, solutions that meet either the Intermatic Green or Green+ criteria will have a round green badge within the certifications section of their respective product pages on Intermatic.com. However, moving forward, customers may see similar marks in marketing collateral, product packaging, advertisements, social media content, and more.

This new initiative is a small way to help promote the value of energy conservation within our industry and spotlight the wide range of energy-saving Intermatic solutions.
